TECHNOLOGICAL PLATFORMS

Y-PARC works closely with the School of Engineering and Management of the Canton of Vaud (HEIG-VD), its main academic partner, which includes over 2,500 students and scientists, as well as 8 research and development institutes, including:

  • The IICT Institute: The largest research institute of the school, covering fields in computer science and telecommunications.
  • The Industrial Automation Institute (IAI): A key partner in automation, robotics, and mechatronics.
  • The Energy Institute: A new institute addressing current energy challenges, such as improving energy efficiency, promoting renewable energy, reducing losses, and mitigating energy shortages.
