Four projects supported by the SDSC and the Canton of Vaud

The Canton of Vaud and the Swiss Data Science Centre are allocating 7.5 million Swiss francs over the period 2024–2028 to a collaborative innovation programme aimed at embedding artificial intelligence within the Vaud economy. This initiative brings together businesses, universities and public institutions, providing financial support and expertise in data science.

Four initiatives were selected in the second call for projects. Bobst will develop predictive maintenance tools for its machines, whilst Bewe Lab is developing a mobile app designed to better understand compulsive urges. Perivision will improve its platform for the diagnosis and monitoring of glaucoma, and the cantonal administration will set up interactive access to parliamentary proceedings.
