Novaccess, based at Y-PARC Swiss Technopole, develops and markets IoT (Internet of Things) technologies and products on an industrial scale with two main applications: public lighting for smart cities and connected buildings (with a focus on fire safety).

Novaccess offers an unprecedented solution in the field of intelligent lighting. The Vaud-based company’s solution, called NovaLight, has been recognized as a “success story” by Innosuisse.

Thanks to this, Novaccess was able to raise CHF 4.8 million, CHF 3 million of which was in the form of a loan guaranteed by the Swiss Technology Fund. This fundraising will contribute to NovaLight’s marketing efforts and to the logistical support of the NovaSafety application, a fire safety solution to be deployed in the United Arab Emirates from 2021.
